Business Analyst

Job Summary

Zencore Solutions Limited is a growing technology and ERP solutions company specializing in ERP implementation, business process automation, custom software development, and digital transformation solutions.

As we continue to expand our ERP implementation team, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Business Analyst who can understand business requirements, analyze existing processes, and translate business needs into effective solutions preferred in Odoo.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, practical knowledge of ERP/business processes, and the ability to work closely with clients, project managers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions to understand business needs and objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare current and To-Be business process flows and recommend suitable solutions preferrable in Odoo.
• Gather, analyze, document, and prioritize functional and business requirements.
• Map business requirements with appropriate modules and standard functionalities.
• Prepare BRD, SRS, Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), User Stories, Use Cases, Process Flow Diagrams, and other project documentation.
• Configure and demonstrate functionalities based on business requirements.
• Conduct Fit-Gap Analysis and identify requirements that require configuration, customization, or third-party integration.
• Collaborate with developers to explain functional requirements and clarify business logic.
• Prepare functional specifications and provide clear requirements to the development team.
• Review development outcomes against approved requirements and provide functional feedback.
• Prepare and execute UAT scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
• Coordinate with clients during UAT, manage feedback, and support issue/defect resolution.
• Conduct product demonstrations and functional presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Provide user training, prepare user manuals, and support end users during implementation and post-go-live.
• Support data migration activities, including data analysis, validation, mapping, and reconciliation.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Developers, QA, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain proper project documentation and ensure requirements and changes are properly tracked.
• Support change request analysis, impact assessment, and estimation activities.
• Stay updated with new features, modules, best practices, and ERP implementation methodologies.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including requirement analysis, solution presentations, and demonstrations when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering/ Bachelor in Management Information Systems (MIS) or related field.

Experience Requirement

• 4 to 6 Years of Relevant Experience

Key Competencies

• Practical experience with Odoo ERP implementation is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of ERP concepts and business processes.
• Good understanding of standard modules and their business use cases.
• Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Strong knowledge of BRD, SRS, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, UAT, and process documentation.
• Experience with BPMN, flowcharts, or business process modeling is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a project-based environment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work directly with clients and participate in client meetings.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
